Vila Preseren Lake Bled – 2024

A beautiful hotel set on the bank of Lake Bled it is truly a wonderful setting. The hotel itself has a real class feel to it and this ozzes from the the quality of the throw found on the bed, to the grandeur of the taps in the on-suite to the way in which the staff present themselves. The view from our rooms was stunning , across the Lake, and quite possibly the best view we’ve ever had. Food is out on the veranda and again the view is just wonderful. Is there a downside, yes, the area is busy, not so that it spoils it but more than in any photograph you see and at night there are lots and lots of miggies so bring spray.

Cons – Small carpark, Watch out for the miggies, make sure you take insect repellent
