About

The Twist The Wrist story

We are four friends  (along with our partners) who have come together through our love of traveling and bikes.

Initially we would meet up and ride the roads of the UK, until in 2012 we planned our first  trip to Europe and that’s when the adventures really started.

Using our experience and learning from our mistakes (and there have been a few including riding 200 miles in the wrong direction, cheers to Bulby and a dodgy sat nav), we’ve created this website to help others and share the fun that can be had across the water.

Follow our journey while you plan yours.

Juiceman

Juiceman

The organiser

The brains, planner and the money man in the group.   Knows how to ride hard and fast ( his bike) and  loves some hot sunny weather and some clear twisty tarmac

Babee Gee

Babee Gee

The Encourager

The sweary welsh wonder, loud, proud  and will be the one likely to get naked.

He doesn’t care, if you wana do it he’ll do it with you (if he can)

Asti

Asti

the enforcer

Strong, silent and with the face of an angel. He’s the member of the crew that with a glint in his eye encourages the others to misbehave

BMW S1000XR Gen 2 - 'Adolf'
BMW S100XR - 'Rudy'

The new addition to the family, Juicemans’s S1000XR Triple Black….. we’re all thankful he’s got it cause he’s been on about it for ages lol

BMW GS 1250Adventure TE 'Hans Gruber'

Utilising BMW’s superb 120cc boxer engine the GS 1250 liquid cooled like its predecessor the GS 1200 air cooled has long been the big trail round the world go anywhere bike to be seen on ever since Ewan and Charlie set off on the long way round.

Suzuki GSF 1250 Bandit

Previous Rides!

Bulby's BMW S1000XR

The 2nd Generation BMW S1000XR is a super smooth rocket ship thats comfortable enough to cross europe but fast and angile enouth that once you get to those stunning mountain roads its the bike you want to be on. Engine loses some of the character on the Mk1 bike but the Mk2 has more refinement and is faster

Juicey's Suzuki GSXS 1000F

The bike Suzuki should have made sooner, a GSXR1000 with flat bars, this is a really capable bike.   Will scratch with the best as long as the rider is upto it yet comfortable to ride across europe. Juice did 550 miles in one day in 40 degree heat and still got off at the end of it able to still party with the rest of us. The bike seen here has crossed Europe with some soft panniers and a sat nav  faster than most would have been round a race track and only the weight on the wrists pays it’s price on day long riding.

Babee Gee's BMW S1000XR M Sport Gen 1

The Gen 1 S1000XR really did change the game when it hit the market. A real sports bike DNA in a package that meant you can ride all day and shame your sports bike mates at the same time

Asti's Honda VFR800
